St. Louis' very own Studio 858 is a great place for every photographer, from the beginner to the advanced. This is not your grandfather's photo studio, but a state-of-the-art photographic learning center! We've got the equipment to satisfy the experienced and the teachers to help the newbies. Our studio 1, for instance, sports 5 high quality studio lights on stands and booms and offers brick, stone, muslin and wide white backgrounds. A host of light modifiers (hair light, spot light, grids, umbrellas, beauty dish, reflection panels etc) enables even the pickiest of photographers to get the images they want.

Studio 2 is our classical photo studio, sporting 3 different canvas backgrounds, but lit by our unique 16 foot long light wall, with 3x4 soft box for fill and a hair/background light equipped with barn doors and grid. Plenty of power to get f16 at ISO 200 or dial down to f5.6 at ISO 100

High Key, that's what defines our studio 3. Our fast recycling, short flash duration Einstein lights freeze the action no matter how fast, sharply defining flying hair and preventing blur even when your subject is twirling or leaping. Perfect for dance photography or commercial work with splashes and splatters!

Sometimes confused with the Norse god of mischief, our Low Key studio 4 is always a hit! Think dramatic, moody lighting suitable for almost any occasion. Fashion, portraits, product; any creative image is sure to shine on this set! Overhead octa box light, two rectangular soft boxes, and a background/hair light with grid give you all the lighting resources you need to craft magnificent images.
